A 4-year-old boy was airlifted to safety Wednesday after having suffered a seizure near Agua Dulce.

Shortly after 12:45 p.m., firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, including the rescue crew aboard Helicopter No. 19, were dispatched to a medical call on the 36300 block of Anthony Road, north of Agua Dulce, between Willow Spring Gulch Road and Letteau Motorway.

“This was a call for a seizure,” Fire Department spokesman Marvin Lim said, noting the patient was flown to the hospital. Fire officials did not know the exact cause, but confirmed the boy did not suffer the seizure as a result of fall or near drowning.
