A man was detained Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of burglary after two young boys dialed 911 to report hearing burglar-like noises in their house.
Deputies in more than a half-dozen cruisers raced over to a house on Camden Place in Saugus, after receiving reports of a burglar heard inside a home were the two brothers, aged 12 and 9, were home alone, Sgt. Mike Pokorny, of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station said.
The boys were found safe.
When deputies arrived and checked out the home, however, they found evidence of possible burglaries in the neighborhood, Pokorny said.
The investigation is continuing.
