Event officials for “Wine on the Roof … Dine on the Roof” have changed the location for the Thursday, May 16, event due to expected inclement weather.
Formerly set to be held on the Macy’s parking garage at the Westfield Valencia Town Center, weather concerns have resulted in the location being changed to the old Charming Charlie’s storefront on the Patios at the Town Center, next to Solita.
“Everything remains the same, and we’ll see you at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at this unique and wonderful venue,” said a statement distributed to event participants on Wednesday.
The event, put on each year by the WiSH Education Foundation in partnership with the William S. Hart Union High School District, is set to feature a selection of handpicked wines and a six-course meal prepared by local chefs, in addition to an appetizer hour with a selection of wines, all of which have been donated by private wine enthusiasts.
All proceeds raised through the event will be given to the WiSH Education Foundation, a Santa Clarita Valley nonprofit that supports the 7th-12th grade students of the Hart District.
Ticket sales end Wednesday, May 15, at 8 p.m and no tickets are sold at the door, according to officials.
