“In a very short time, Congresswoman Katie Hill has made a national name for herself, and able to position herself in several high-profile roles in Congress, which continues to bring national attention to the 25th Congressional District.”

As a freshman member of Congress, Rep. Katie Hill, D-Agua Dulce, has taken her passion for community service to the national level with her election to the 25th District seat in November 2018.
In just 10 months in office, Hill quickly raised her profile with a leadership position in a caucus for first-year members. She was also named vice chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, a body that has gained recent attention for its ability to “investigate the subjects within the committee’s legislative jurisdiction, as well as ‘any matter’ within the jurisdiction of the other standing House committees.”
Her areas of focus have included veteran advocacy, which is one of the most important areas where there’s significant work to be done. In addition to a number of caucuses, Hill sits on the following committees: the House Armed Service Committee, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
