“Newhall Land, and its successor agency, FivePoint, has been the most significant factor in the shaping of Santa Clarita’s development for decades, and Don Kimball has played a major role in FivePoint.”
— Richard Budman, Signal Publisher/Owner
FivePoint is set to create thousands of homes in Valencia West, formerly known as Newhall Ranch, which will be part of Valencia for decades to come. This new community comes from years of analysis, planning and outreach with Santa Clarita Valley residents, an effort led at the local level by Don Kimball.
As someone who’s played a major part in the two companies that have been the SCV’s biggest developer for more than 30 years, first at Newhall Land & Farming and now at FivePoint, Kimball’s influence can be seen throughout the west side of the SCV. His accounting background has been an important asset for the developer in a competitive marketplace.
He’s also part of the community and company tradition of giving back, working as a partner for one of the SCV’s most important organizations, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, which Kimball has served on the board for the last dozen years, in addition to numerous committees and fundraising efforts.
