A magnitude-3.9 earthquake was reported approximately 14 miles north-northeast of Barstow and about 2 miles deep, the U.S.Geological Survey reported Saturday. The quake may have been felt in some areas of the Santa Clarita Valley.
The earthquake was initially reported at 11:34 a.m., according to USGS.
This is the second earthquake to be reported at Barstow in the past month, the first being a magnitude-4.6 earthquake on Jan. 24.
