Firefighters snuff out spot fire in Canyon Country

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel quickly doused a small spot fire in Canyon Country Sunday morning.

Firefighters responded to reports of a vegetation fire around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Linda Vista Street and Summit Hills Drive, according to L.A. County Fire Department Supervisor Cheryl Sims.

“They had the 30-by-30 spot fire under control by 10:50 a.m.,” Sims said.
