One person was airlifted out of Central Park at approximately 4:03 p.m. Saturday due to a medical emergency, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Miguel Ornelas.
Fire officials sent a call for an airlift as soon as the incident was reported on North Alaminos Drive. Ornelas was unable to confirm the exact nature of the medical emergency.
