Celebrating Little Buddies

After 12-year-old Darby Dunn (left) showed her mother Jada Dunn a TikTok about a program called Little Buddies, Darby’s mom — TK instructor at Sulphur Springs Community School — launched an effort to bring the concept to the school, pairing sixth-graders with TK students in a mentoring role. Darby and her 5-year-old brother, Dayton (right), joined the rest of the sixth graders and TK students in celebrating the year they shared together during the recent sixth-grade graduation at Sulphur Springs.
