The “do something I’m scared” impulse brought us nothing but heartache. Empty shelves. Insane panic. Lost jobs. Crazy rules. Ruined businesses. Massive inflation. Wrecked educations. Huge debt.
Government-made disasters all around, and all for a government-made flu that everybody got anyway.
