College of the Canyons held its Welcome Day on Friday at its Valencia campus, giving future Cougars, as well as re- turning students, a chance to get acclimated to the campus and the different programs and services that the college offers. Students were expected to receive personalized help with applying and registering for the fall semester along with meeting professors, other students and taking a campus tour, according to a news release from the college.
