I haven’t written to The Signal in the past. However, I feel the need to do so now.

This is not a letter calling either the current Republican or the Democratic representatives on the table. I’m calling you both for not doing the job you were elected to do.

To the Republicans: Who do you think you are holding the House of Representatives hostage from doing their elected work? What I mean is, you don’t seem to have a plan in effect to get any legislation enacted.

It seems that all you want to do is grandstand so that you can get reelected and media coverage. For what? You don’t know how to compromise and “cross the aisle” to represent me and the other Americans who elected you.

Similarly, you Democratic representatives don’t want to compromise and “cross the aisle” either, as it showed when you voted to can Kevin McCarthy, who had reached across the aisle even knowing that it would not be good for him. Who are you people?

All I hear about from the House has to do with the Hunter Biden problems and you wanting to impeach Joe Biden. When will you start legislating in good faith to represent us?

Maybe you have forgotten why you were elected. But you were elected and you swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States. It’s about time you started to do just that.

I am sure there will be many readers who disagree with me, but that is OK with me as we are a democracy.
