A Santa Clarita man was arrested on Thursday evening after reportedly swinging a machete at a man multiple times in Canyon Country off Abelia Road, according to Deputy Nicholas Hoslet, a spokesman for the SCV Sheriff’s Station.
According to Hoslet, the suspect did not strike the alleged victim, but narrowly missed. Deputies responded to the call at 6:07 p.m.
The suspect is still in custody, according to station officials.
