A 2-month-old infant died from carbon monoxide poisoning on the 27300 block of Evi Lane in Canyon Country on Wednesday, according to L.A. County Sheriff’s Department sources close to the investigation and the L.A. County Fire Department.Â
Fire Department Public Information officer Fred Fielding reported that firefighters were first dispatched at 4:49 p.m. and arrived on the scene two minutes later. Hazmat crew members were called to the scene and are still on site as of the publication of this story. One fatality related to the incident was confirmed.
