A person was arrested on suspicion of theft and battery after a fight broke out at a wine tasting room at 8th Street and Main Street on Saturday night, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Deputies were dispatched to an initial call at 9:31 p.m. of a group fighting and someone being held down by other people on the scene, according to Deputy Nicholas Hoslet with the station.
After investigating, deputies arrested a person on suspicion of theft and battery, Hoslet said.
Deputies contacted the victim, and she said the suspect took her phone, and that battery was involved, Hoslet said.
One victim was treated by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel, and no one was transported, according to observations at the scene.
There is no additional information at the time of publication, Hoslet said.
