A person is at large after stealing a 2024 white box truck with the doors unlocked and keys in the ignition on the 24000 block of Walnut Street on Wednesday morning, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The incident happened at Henry’s Coffee.
The call came in at 9:47 a.m. and deputies were dispatched immediately after, arriving just a few minutes later, according to Lt. Luis Molina with the station.
The victim had left his phone in the car, Molina said.
Deputies were able to locate the vehicle through the cell phone’s GPS and recovered the vehicle unoccupied, according to Molina.
The suspect remains at large as of the publication of this story, and detectives are investigating, Molina said.
