Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station are investigating a possible robbery that was reported to be in progress at a business on Centre Pointe Parkway on Friday, according to a spokesperson with the SCV Sheriff’s Station.
According to Deputy Tyler Wheatcroft, deputies were dispatched in response to a silent robbery alarm at 1:13 p.m. and one person was detained as deputies continued to investigate the circumstances.
Limited information was available at the time of this story’s publication, but the alleged robbery took place in the 20700 block of Centre Pointe Parkway, and according to an online search and observations from the scene, the location houses a jewelry store.
According to first responder radio dispatch traffic, two suspects were reported to be stealing jewelry from the location and traveling in a black BMW, but officials could not confirm that as of the publication of this story.
