The CVS Pharmacy at the intersection of Seco Canyon Road and Copper Hill Drive sustained structural damage when an SUV crashed into a pillar outside the store’s front door on Monday afternoon, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. 

The initial call was a report that a vehicle crashed into the building at 3:31 p.m., according to Deputy Nicholas Hoslet with the station. 

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the traffic collision at 3:34 p.m. and arrived about four minutes later, according to Howard Tieu, spokesman for the Fire Department.

There are no transports at the time of this publication, Tieu said. 

Deputies on the scene said that the store’s operations were currently shut down. Only the drive through was open on Monday afternoon while the crash cleanup was under way. 

There is no additional information at the time of this publication, Hoslet said.
