Vehicles heavily damaged in head-on collision

A head-on traffic collision caused major vehicle damage, but no serious injuries, on San Francisquito Canyon Road just north of Quail Trail on Thursday morning, according to officials with the California Highway Patrol Traffic Management Unit. 

The call came in at 7:43 a.m. reporting a collision involving a white truck and a sedan, according to Officer Megan Curtiss with Traffic Management. 

A Dodge Ram truck and a heavy-duty truck collided head-on and the crash also involved a third vehicle, a Lexus SUV, according to observations at the scene.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were dispatched at 7:49 a.m. and were on the scene at 8:25 a.m., according to Saadullah Sheikh with the Fire Department. 

There were no transports, Curtiss said. 

There is no additional information at the time of this publication, Curtiss said.
