A person was extracted from a vehicle after a two-car rollover crash near the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Newhall Ranch Road Friday afternoon.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies were dispatched to the scene a little after 2 p.m. and arrived at 2:06, said Sgt. Ryan Elsee.
Deputies were told the two-car crash resulted in one flipped vehicle and a person who was trapped inside, Elsee said.
Sheriff’s personnel on the scene were directing traffic around the flipped car on Newhall Ranch Road Friday afternoon.
The person was extracted, according to radio dispatch traffic, but it was unclear when the extraction took place or what kind of medical attention the person received.
L.A. County Fire Department personnel dispatched to the area in response to the incident were cleared after a little over half an hour.
No additional information was available from L.A. County Fire spokesman Fred Fielding.
This is a developing story. More information will be added as it becomes available.
