Two 18-year-old Lancaster residents were arrested on suspicion of identity theft at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia on Tuesday afternoon, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Deputies at the theme park responded to the call reporting a petty theft after a witness saw the man and woman discarding credit cards and IDs in the trash cans, according to Sgt. Justin Boosalis with the station.
Another witness saw the two suspects stealing from bags as well, Boosalis said.
The man and woman were arrested on suspicion of identity theft, booked into the station and later released without bail, according to an email statement from Deputy Mariela Picard, public information officer with the station.
