A woman was taken into custody after attempting to pull out a loan using someone else’s identification at a bank on the 27000 block of McBean Parkway on Monday afternoon, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The bank is SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union in Valencia.
The woman walked into the bank and attempted to pull out a $4,000 loan, and when the bank verified the ID of the person, they found that it was not the suspect, according to Sgt. Anthony Levin with the station.
The bank called deputies around 2:27 p.m., Levin said.
