A fire broke out in the garage underneath a commercial building on the 27000 block of Fairway Lane in Stevenson Ranch on Sunday afternoon, according to an official with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters were dispatched to the call at 4:10 p.m. and arrived on the scene at 4:16 p.m., according to Capt. Brian Kight with the Fire Department.
Kight said that the sprinklers in the garage did most of the work to help put out the fire.
During the primary and secondary searches of the building, firefighters were able to determine that no one was in the building, Kight said.
Firefighters are actively working at the scene to mop up, Kight said.
There is no additional information at the time of this publication, Kight said.
