A man in his 20s was shot in the leg by another man in his 20s Thanksgiving night, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Office.
Sgt. Oleg Polissky said the shooting was deemed accidental, although there was some negligence involved. It’s unclear at this time how the two men knew each other.
Deputies were called to the 27000 block of Silverton Court in Valencia at 11:03 p.m. Thursday and arrived a few minutes later.
L.A. County Fire Department personnel were called to the scene at 11:04 p.m. for a medical emergency and were cleared 48 minutes later. No additional information was available from L.A. County Fire spokesman Fred Fielding.
