Person airlifted after 100-foot fall

A person was airlifted after sustaining injuries from a 100-foot fall at Placerita Canyon Saturday afternoon, according to Capt. David Dantic with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.  

According to Dantic, firefighters were dispatched at 1:04 p.m. and the patient was transported in a helicopter at 2:10 p.m. from the 17600 block of Placerita Canyon Road. According to Dantic, the patient received advanced life support care.  

According to radio dispatch traffic, the patient is a 25-year-old man who was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Dantic could not confirm any information regarding the patient.
