Two people were transported in unknown condition following a crash near the intersection of Golden Valley Road and Centre Pointe Parkway on Tuesday night, according to officials.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash with possible injuries and a vehicle rollover at 10 p.m., according to Deputy Nicholas Hoslet with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were also dispatched to the scene with reports of one person trapped, said Edith Lai, a spokeswoman for the agency. It is unknown whether the person self-extricated from the car following the crash or if firefighters had to assist, she added.
Two people were transported to the hospital in unknown condition, according to Lai.
Circumstances leading to the crash were not available, Hoslet added, and it is unknown if anyone was arrested in relation to the incident at the time of this story’s publication.
According to a sheriff deputy at the scene, one vehicle was possibly traveling southbound on Golden Valley Road and went over the median, knocking down a tree and crashing head-on to another vehicle traveling the opposite direction.
