At least one person was extricated from a vehicle and given medical transport following a vehicle collision near the intersection of Newhall Ranch Road and Rye Canyon Road on Tuesday night, according to the L.A. County Fire Department.
Fire Department Capt. David Dantic reported that first responders were dispatched at 9:13 p.m. and found at least one person trapped inside of a vehicle, leading to them requesting an additional ambulance. The person was extricated at 9:27 p.m. and given medical transport four minutes later.
According to Dantic, the number of vehicles involved in the collision is unknown as of Monday night, as are any potential additional injuries and medical transports. Dantic added that authorities are still on scene as of approximately 9:30 p.m. Monday.
