One person was transported via helicopter after a medical emergency at the 17000 block of Scrubjay Way in Saugus Thursday afternoon, according to Edith Lai, public information associate with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
According to Sgt. Juan Muralles with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the patient was a juvenile, but Muralles could not confirm the age. Deputies were on the scene at 1:27 p.m.
According to Lai, firefighters were dispatched at 1:28 p.m. and arrived at 1:37 p.m. The helicopter was on the scene at 2:10 p.m. at Skyline Ranch Park, according to Lai.
Lai could not confirm the age or gender of the patient.
