A 1-year-old child was airlifted after a choking incident on the 20500 block of Soledad Canyon Road on Sunday afternoon, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The incident was at Mike & Nick’s Tire & Service.
Firefighters received the medical emergency call and were immediately dispatched at 1:31 p.m., according to Capt. Brian Kight.
The helicopter arrived at the scene at 1:59 p.m., transporting the child and a parent, Kight said.
The helicopter arrived at the hospital at 2:17 p.m., Kight said.
There is no additional information at the time of this publication, according to Kight.
