One person was detained after Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies were patrolling the area near Decoro Drive and Seco Canyon Road at around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, according to an official with the station.
Deputies were doing a records check on the suspect vehicle and noticed the vehicle was stolen, with the incorrect plates as well, and conducted a felony stop, according to Sgt. R. Arambulo with the station, who declined to provide his first name.
One person was detained, but not yet formally arrested due to an ongoing investigation, Arambulo said.
There is no additional information at the time of this publication, Arambulo said.
