A fire hydrant was sheared when a semi-truck trailer hit it trying to make a turn on the 23400 block of west Lyons Avenue near Apple Street on Monday evening, according to an official with Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The incident was around 5:56 p.m. and was considered non-injury, according to Edith Lai with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Deputy Daniel Lopez with the station said the incident was not criminal.
