A 39-year-old man who was reported missing after he was last seen in Canyon Country was found Friday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Sergio Moises Centeno, who was last seen on Jan. 10 in the 28000 block of Hillfield Lane, was found unharmed at about 3 p.m. Friday at a Los Angeles hospital, said Sgt. Joana Warren.
Centeno’s case was deemed critical and handed over to LASD’s Homicide Bureau-Missing Persons Detail. LASD put out a call to community members to help find Centeno this week, saying he was possibly headed to Venice Beach.
Hospital staff were alerted to Centeno’s status as a missing person after admitting him, Warren said.
