An off-duty Palmdale sheriff’s deputy was involved in a single-vehicle traffic collision on State Route 14 southbound just north of Via Princessa on Thursday morning, according to officials with the California Highway Patrol Newhall-area Office.
The call was received at 7:49 a.m. when a single vehicle overturned, according to Officer Carlos Burgos-Lopez with the CHP.
The deputy suffered minor injuries and was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, Burgos-Lopez added.
Lanes had reopened as of the publication of this story, Burgos-Lopez said.
