A hit-and-run suspect was arrested on the 24100 block of Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia on Friday afternoon, according to reports from the scene.
According to witnesses on the scene, Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a hit and run at approximately 5 p.m., with L.A. County firefighters also being dispatched as a precaution.
When authorities arrived, they found that a nearby structure had sustained damage from a vehicle collision and that a gray Audi coupe was parked in a parking spot with a trail of fluid left behind from the collision. Authorities gave the vehicle’s driver a field sobriety test before detaining the person. The vehicle was also towed.
