A person was airlifted after sustaining injuries from a fall on a hiking trail in Newhall Saturday afternoon, according to Capt. David Dantic with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
According to Dantic, firefighters were dispatched at 1:10 p.m. near Newhall Avenue and Highway 14. The patient was transported at 1:49 p.m.
According to radio traffic dispatch, the patient was a female and was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. No other information regarding the patient was available during the time of this story’s publication.
