A man was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital after accidentally shooting himself with a gun on the 31500 block of Castaic Road on Saturday night, according to officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Sgt. Ryan Elsee with the station confirmed it was at the Rodeway Inn in Castaic.
The incident was around 10:30 p.m., Elsee said.
He was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition, Elsee added.
There is no additional information at the time of this publication, Elsee said.
