A fatal crash involving three vehicles resulted in a married couple being killed at Newhall Ranch Road and Bouquet Canyon Road on Friday evening, according to Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.
Los Angeles County Medical Examiner officials have not officially released the names of the victims, but a GoFundMe that has been set up confirmed that the victims were Patty and Genry Ortiz. The page has been verified as authentic by GoFundMe.
The three cars involved were a white Honda SUV, a white truck and a gray truck that was waiting at the light when the collision happened, according to Sgt. Ryan Elsee.
Elsee said there was no information on the age of the suspect at the time of this story’s publication.
The fatal crash is still being investigated, according to Elsee.
