A fuel tank fell from a big rig Thursday afternoon in Valencia at the intersection of Rye Canyon Road and Newhall Ranch Road, according to reports from the scene.
According to reports from the scene, the incident occurred at 4:19 p.m. The driver, who was near the Walmart parking lot, dropped the fuel tank, picked it up, and stopped at the next traffic light.
The driver was asked by deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and Los Angeles County firefighters to dump out the fuel from the rest of the tank. A trace of fuel was present on the road.
No injuries were reported.
