L.A. County firefighters responded to a call about a possible ammonia leak at a building on Avenue Stanford in the Valencia Industrial Center Thursday evening, but were unable to determine whether there was a leak.

Fire Department spokesperson Pauline McGee said firefighters responded to the call about the possible leak on the 28000 block of Avenue Stanford shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday, arriving less than 10 minutes later.

Firefighters were unable to determine that there had been a leak and there were no evacuations described in the report, McGee said. No one was taken from the scene for medical care.

McGee said firefighters spent about half an hour inside the building.
