A missing 18-year-old man sought by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has been found, according to an alert sent by the department Wednesday.
LASD’s Missing Persons Unit had asked the public for help finding Jeffrey Jay-Samuel Pennington earlier this week in a Nixle alert. The alert said Pennington’s family was concerned for his wellbeing.
According to the alert, Pennington had been last seen Monday leaving his home on the 5800 block of West Avenue J10 in Lancaster. He has friends and family who live in the Santa Clarita Valley, according to a relative who contacted The Signal.
The Sheriff’s Information Bureau thanked the public for its help during the search.
