One person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition following a medical emergency call on the northbound side of State Route 14 near the Agua Dulce Canyon Roaf offramp on Tuesday night.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched to the location at 9:40 p.m. to a medical call and arrived at the scene in 16 minutes, said Edith Lai, a spokeswoman for the Fire Department.
According to reports from the scene, the California Highway Patrol also responded to the incident and halted all northbound lanes for a period of time, but requests for additional information were not immediately returned by the CHP Newhall-area Office as of the publication of this story.
The L.A. County Fire Department logs stated that the person suffering the medical emergency could have been possibly intoxicated and was also unruly with first responders, Lai said. The person was then transported to the hospital.
No other transports or injuries were reported, she added.
