Tesla catches fire in Castaic

The Los Angeles County Fire Department’s Health Hazardous Materials Division was dispatched to a residential area after a Tesla caught fire on the 27800 block of Parker Road in Castaic on Saturday evening, according to an official with the Fire Department. 

Firefighters were dispatched to the vehicle fire at 10:04 p.m. and called their Hazmat team to assist, according to Capt. Aaron Katon with the Fire Department. 

There were no transports or injuries reported, Katon said. 

The call closed over four hours later at 2:19 a.m., according to PulsePoint.
