At least one child was transported after being involved in an auto-vs.-pedestrian traffic collision on the 16600 block of Lost Canyon Road in Canyon Country on Monday afternoon, according to a witness at the scene.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel were dispatched to a call reporting a traffic collision involving a pedestrian at 3:17 p.m., according to Jonathan Torres, spokesman for the Fire Department.
Torres said firefighters confirmed two patients were being transported at 3:18 p.m. but said he did not know the extent of their injuries or condition at the time of this publication.
The patients were transported at 3:48 p.m., Torres added.
The call was closed at 4:21 p.m., according to Torres.
Sulphur Springs Elementary School and Sulphur Springs Union School District personnel were not immediately available for comment Monday evening after the close of their regular business hours.
