A man was arrested on suspicion of felony attempted burglary Tuesday after callers in Stevenson Ranch alerted deputies about a prowler in the area, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Deputies arrested the 31-year-old after they were called to the 25800 block of Blake Court around 1:20 a.m.

Callers told deputies a man had climbed over a locked gate into a back yard and was looking into windows, according to an email from Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the SCV Sheriff’s Station.

Deputies found the man hiding in a bush and identified him as a transient, according to Miller’s statement. He’s being held at the SCV Sheriff’s Station with bail set at $50,000 as of the publication of this story, according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department’s inmate locator.
