California Highway Patrol Officers responded to a multi-vehicle collision at Interstate 5 southbound, near Weldon Canyon Road, Saturday afternoon according to Officer Delos Reyes, who declined to give his first name.
According to Delos Reyes, officers were dispatched at 4:14 p.m. and on the scene at 4:31 p.m.
Initially, all lanes were blocked, with the no. 1 and 2 lanes opened by 4:58 p.m. The no. 3, 4 and 5 lanes are blocked during the time of this story’s publication.
