A Santa Clarita Valley woman charged with the sexual assault of an underage girl from the local Boys & Girls Club where she was working at the time pleaded no contest Tuesday, according to the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office.
The D.A.s Office charged Elizabeth Elizarraraz, 32, with six felony charges in connection with a sexual assault committed against a victim under the age of 14.
Elizarraraz was scheduled to have her preliminary hearing when the plea was filed with Judge Pamela Usher in Department G of the San Fernando Courthouse.
“On (Tuesday), the defendant pled no contest to two counts of lewd acts upon a child under age 14. Sentencing is scheduled Nov. 30 in Department E of the San Fernando Courthouse,” according to an email Thursday from Venusse Dunn, spokeswoman for the L.A. County District attorney’s office.
“(Elizarraraz) is advised that this case counts as two strikes pursuant to (the) ‘Three Strikes Law’ under penal code sections 667(b)-(i) and 1170.12,” according to the minute order for Elizarraraz’s hearing Tuesday.
That also indicated the court would hear victim impact statements before sentencing occurred.
SCV Sheriff’s Station detectives received a tip about the relationship Jan. 28, then used search warrants to uncover activity between Elizarraraz and her alleged victim that included direct messaging on Instagram and using the social media app to call her.
The relationship is believed to have started during a “field trip to Magic Mountain” in October 2024, according to an SCV Sheriff’s Station request to search Elizarraraz’s property.
The suspect gave the victim a ride home from the local theme park. The victim’s report stated Elizarraraz began to touch her intimately before the victim declined sex, according to statements from detectives seeking permission to search Elizarraraz’s electronic devices.
A similar incident occurred in May 2025 in the defendant’s car, after she parked near a Valencia hiking trail, per the search-warrant request.
