The Hart High girls tennis team lost, 14-4 , to Oak Park High in a CIF-Southern Section Division 2 wild-card match Tuesday on the road.
Sarah Backer and Shannon Sindle provided the bright spot for the Indians, who finished third in the Foothill League during the regular season.
The No. 1 pairing swept three sets, 6-1, 7-6 (8-6 tiebreaker), and 6-1.
The Indians lost all nine sets in singles, bringing their season to an end one round earlier than last season.
In 2015, Hart won its wild-card match before falling in the first round.
