Duarte 49, Hart 44

Annie Christofferson scored 17 points, Abby Copley had 10 points and Nicole Benz had seven points and 10 rebounds. Ally Kaneshiro also added nine rebounds in the Indians’ second-round CIF-SS Division 1A game.

The Indians finished 12-16 on the season.

Einstein 45, Calvary Murrietta 43

The Rockets (14-8) won their second playoff game in program history on the road Saturday in the second round of the CIF-Southern Section Division 6 playoffs.

Sam Sterba scored 10 of her 15 points in the fourth quarter and Evanna Tieng hit the game-winning 3-pointer with one minute remaining in the game. Tieng also held Calvary Murrietta’s leading scorer to only six points.

Einstein will continue to the quarterfinals on Wednesday against Carnegie of Riverside.

SCCS 35, Coast Union 31

The Cardinals (11-6) won their second-round CIF-SS Division 6 playoff game on the road Saturday.

Payton Schwesinger had 14 points, Kenzie Kennedy had 11 points. Chloe Lehman pulled down 10 rebounds and Kayla Norton added seven.

SCCS next plays Linfield Christain at home on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Trinity 54, Lone Pine 47

In the first round of CIF-SS Division 5A playoffs, Taylor Oshiro had 38 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Hannah Caddow had seven points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. Hannah Looney added five points and five rebounds.

Trinity returns home on Wednesday against Bellarmine-Jefferson at 7 p.m.
