A man was seriously hurt in an early morning 3-vehicle crash on Bouquet Canyon Road Thursday.
The man, whose identity and age were not disclosed, was rushed to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.
The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. on Bouquet just north of Plum Canyon Road, Vanessa Lozano, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department told The Signal Thursday.
“This was a traffic collision with persons trapped,” she said.
Paramedics were dispatched to the crash scene at 12:54 a.m. and arrived there five minutes later, she said.
They found one man, the driver, trapped in his car.
“There was a request for an ambulance,” Lozano said. “They (firefighters) extricated him from the car and he was sent to Henry Mayo.”
The trapped man was freed at 1:53 a.m., she said.
Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station are investigating the crash.
