In response to the Robert Tracinski column March 28, “Why I Don’t ‘Believe’ in ‘Science’”:
There are an embarrassing number of science deniers in the United States. Climate change, vaccination, round earth – it hurts us all to move backward instead of forward. Why would our otherwise very worthy local newspaper publish such trash – even as “opinion”? Screening out the ridiculous is not an infringement on free speech. There is a wide world of opinion on a wide world of subjects – all fascinating and with merit. This column lacks merit. Over the millennia science has brought us so very far. Don’t let The Signal be a part of sabotaging our destiny.
